I can't attest to the ease of installation as I had it professionally installed. The features are great, though. I've also called customer service who was very helpful, as well, since the light faded when I pressed the remote twice. Turns out the manual in the box doens't mention what the manual for the remote mentions (not included) - two presses is a mode where the light fades gradually giving you time to leave a room. ...
